alright, to kick things off, we got an ikeakarlby walnut countertop sitting on top of ikea alex drawer units. on the lower ikea shelf, i got different cameralenses that i use, a blue yeti usb microphone, audio-technica m50x professional monitor headphones,an init paper shredder and an hp laserjet wireless printer. next to that is a herman miller aaron seriesergonomic chair, perfect for long hours of video editing. so the speakers that are used are some yamahahs7 studio reference monitors that sound sweet and they're sitting on some isoacoustics speakerstands.
with that i also have the yamaha hs8w subwoofer. we got the apple magic keyboard and magicmouse 2. the speakers are hooked up to the focusritescarlett 2i2 usb audio interface for some high quality audio. then there's apple's latest 27 inch imac withretina 5k display, intel core i7 processor, 32 gigs of ram, and a full ssd flash storagedrive. this is an editing beast! we got the lexar professional sd card reader,and a sabrent 4-port usb 3.0 hub. there's the asus rt-ac5300 tri-band gigabitrouter for some serious internet speeds.
cable management is kept in check thanks tothe ikea signum cable management rack. notice how all the power strips are bolteddirectly to the underside of the countertop. so this is what the setup looks like at nightwhen i'm editing videos for youtube. ambient lighting is provided thanks to thephilips hue lightstrip plus flexible led lightstrip. basically, it comes with an app that letsyou create your own ambiance and you choose among 16 million colours! so that's it for today's show guys. i hope you enjoyed the tour. i hope i gave you guys some ideas on how tosetup your offices.
