hey guys! today i want to show you how to make a storage box out of a shoe box. first of all you need a paint brush with rather strong bristles. next you need some glue. i use wallpaper glue, but you can use mod podge as well. if you are using wallpaper glue you want to get a container as well. the main part of this diy is old newspaper. you might want to have a container for that as well. i just use this one from ikea. step one: mix the glue. simply put the powder into the container...

and add water until you get the right consistency. i had to add a quite lot of water. step two: prepare the newspaper by tearing it apart into small pieces and putting it into the container. continue until you have enough pieces. step three: get the shoe box and start. simply put the piece of newspaper onto the box and carefully add some glue. now, don't do the same mistake as i did: please put glue onto the shoebox first, so that the newspaper doesn't move around. or else this happens. just continue to do that until everything is covered to your liking :) and this is what it might look like in the end.

i am putting my acrylics into the box so i wrote "colours" onto it and decorated it with some more newspaper. i also decorated the other sides of the shoe box. i hope you liked this video :) please leave some feedback for me down in the comments!
